This Equipment Hire Policy sets out the terms, conditions, and responsibilities that apply when hiring equipment from Fusion Hire. This policy is based on and reflects the provisions of the Fusion Hire Equipment Hire Agreement.

The hire period begins and ends on the dates and times agreed in writing.
Equipment must be returned by the agreed end date and time.
Extensions must be agreed with Fusion Hire in advance.
Late returns may incur additional charges.
Hire fees are agreed prior to the start of the hire period.
Payment terms may be:
Paid in advance
Paid on return of equipment
Other terms as agreed in writing
All agreed fees must be paid in full in accordance with the agreed terms.
Equipment may include (but is not limited to):
Sound equipment
Lighting equipment
Control equipment
Special effects
Cabling and rigging accessories
All equipment supplied is deemed to be in good working condition at the start of the hire period unless stated otherwise.
A deposit may be required to secure a booking.
Where applicable, the deposit is 25% of the hire cost.
Deposits are fully refundable if cancelled more than 48 hours before the hire start date.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the hire start date will result in the deposit being non-refundable.
Equipment returned late will be subject to late return charges.
Charges may be applied per day or per week, as agreed.
Late charges continue until all equipment is returned.
Late return charges do not limit liability for damage, loss, or replacement.
The hirer is fully responsible for the equipment from the time of collection or delivery until it is returned.
The hirer must:
Use equipment only for its intended purpose
Ensure equipment is operated by competent and suitably trained persons
Keep equipment secure, safe, and protected at all times
The hirer is fully responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or breakage during the hire period.
The hirer agrees to cover all repair or replacement costs, including labour and parts.
Where replacement is required, this will be charged at full current replacement value.
Payment for damage, loss, or replacement is due within 14 days of invoice.
Any faults, damage, or malfunctions must be reported immediately to Fusion Hire.
Failure to report issues may result in the hirer being fully liable for repair or replacement costs.
Fusion Hire accepts no liability for injury, loss, damage, or consequential loss arising from the use or misuse of the equipment.
The hirer agrees to indemnify Fusion Hire against all claims, losses, or expenses arising from the use of the equipment during the hire period.
Fusion Hire reserves the right to terminate the hire immediately if:
Any terms of the agreement or policy are breached
Equipment is misused or handled unsafely
By hiring equipment from Fusion Hire, the hirer confirms acceptance of this Equipment Hire Policy and the associated Equipment Hire Agreement.
Fusion Hire reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
